Due to changes on the Gmail, Outlook, Apple Calendar, and all mail platforms, Hiring Managers and other users who would like to receive calendar invites for scheduled interviews must select “I know the sender” to enable receiving actual calendar events. Otherwise, events won’t be added to your calendar.
This is a standard procedure for all applications with email, as you may have seen when you get such calendar invites for other items like flights, appointments, etc.
